Answer
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a field that is growing very quickly and is rapidly transforming the health care industry. AI holds immense promise for improving patient care and outcomes. However, the integration of AI into medical practice is not without its challenges. Concerns regarding patient safety, algorithmic bias, and data privacy necessitate a robust regulatory framework to ensure the responsible and ethical use of AI in healthcare (Wani et al., 2022).
In this analysis, we examine all of the current global policies in place, paying particular attention to important initiatives like as the AI Act of the European Union and the regulations of the World Health Organisation (WHO). We also look at national and international standards, such as those established by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), and the Australian Therapeutic Goods Association (TGA) (Saw and Ng, 2022).
